200% Deposit Bonus UK: The Best 200% Offers Compared, and How to Clear Them (October 2026)
- Updated October 2026
- Licence status shown for every offer
- 18+
The ranking below lines up deposit-match welcome packages from offshore-licensed casinos, each card showing the licence, the £20 or €20 minimum deposit, the wagering and the free spins. For a 200% match the number that decides the choice is the multiple: on a £20 deposit the £40 bonus is worth £24 at the UK’s 10x cap, where 37.5% of 20,000 simulated sessions cleared it, while at 40x, the top of the ranking’s range, the same bonus is priced at −£24 and 12.3% cleared it. Against a 100% match on twice the deposit, a 200% match reaches the same bonus with half as much of your own money at risk.

Wagering 35x bonusMin. deposit €20Max win 5x the bonusLicence Anjouan
Lower wagering than most at 35x, a €5 maximum bet, and free-spin winnings paid as cash.
Terms, licence and verdict
Player-friendly terms by offshore standards: 35x rather than the usual 40x, a €5 maximum bet, two weeks to clear, and free-spin winnings paid as cash. The arithmetic is still against the player: a €20 first deposit earns a €30 bonus that needs €1,050 of slot play, an expected cost of about €42 on a 96% game, so the match is worth less than nothing on average and the free spins are the only part with positive value. Terms, licence and verdict
A five-deposit package whose headline, €5,000, is reached only by depositing €1,000 five times. At the €20 minimum the first stage is a €20 bonus that needs €800 of play at 40x, an expected cost of about €32, so the match has negative value on average; the spins are capped at €100 of winnings per batch and expire within a day. The maximum bet while a bonus is active is not published, which is a term worth asking support for before depositing.

Launched in 2026 and operated by PrimeTier Limited of Costa Rica, a brand with no track record yet. The package has the same shape as WinBeast: five deposits, 40x wagering, and at the £20 minimum a first-stage bonus that needs £800 of play. The 5x conversion cap limits what any stage can pay out. Not on the Gambling Commission register and not connected to GamStop; the lootbox and tournament promotions sit outside the welcome terms entirely.

Terms, licence and verdict
A generous-looking first-deposit match with the least documented terms. A £20 deposit at 200% is a £40 bonus that needs £1,600 of play at 40x, an expected cost of about £64, so the headline generosity is the most expensive to clear. The maximum win, expiry and maximum bet are not published where a player can read them before depositing, and the Curaçao licence number could not be matched to a regulator entry. Key numbers for choosing a 200% match on £10. Bonus £20, balance £30. Worth £12.00 if all £200 of a 10x requirement is staked on a 96% slot, and −£12.00 at 40x (£800 of stakes). Simulated on a model slot at 20p a spin: 28.9% of sessions finished 10x and 9.8% finished 40x; 25.7% and 9.6% ended with more than the £10 paid in.
A 200% match gives twice the bonus of a 100% match on the same deposit, and with it twice the wagering. Whether that makes it the better deal depends entirely on the multiple attached, so the quick answer and the comparison table below start there and show how to read each offer on the ranking’s cards. The sections after them are the evidence: they price £10, £20 and £50 deposits with the standard value formula, then show what usually happens to a single player, using 20,000 simulated sessions for each offer: how many finish the wagering, how many lose the deposit, and how far a few large wins prop up the average.
It also covers the terms that change the value, how long the play-through takes, which licensed groups shape their welcomes around deposits, and the offshore sites that use the same headline with very different rules. For the wider picture, the UK guide to casino welcome bonuses sets the 200% match beside every other kind of welcome offer.
Quick answer: choosing and clearing a 200% deposit bonus
- Compare the bonus, not the percentage. A 200% match on £10 and a 100% match on £20 both credit £20 of bonus and are both worth £12.00 at 10x. The 100% route cleared more often in simulation, 42.6% against 28.9%, but with twice as much of your own money in play.
- Let the multiple decide. At 10x the £20 bonus asks for £200 of stakes and 28.9% of simulated sessions cleared it; at 40x it asks for £800, is priced at −£12.00, and 9.8% cleared it.
- On the ranking’s cards, check the deposit and the base. Their packages start at £20 or €20, so a 200% match there would mean £40 of bonus and, at 40x, £1,600 of stakes; if the multiple also covers the deposit, add half as much again.
- At 40x, look for deposit-first terms. When the deposit was played first and withdrawn once it doubled, 23.8% of £10 sessions at 40x ended above £10, against 9.6% with deposit and bonus locked together.
- Plan the time and the stake before you start. £1,600 at 10p a spin is 16,000 spins and at least 11 h 7 min. A bigger stake is faster but must stay under the bonus’s maximum bet, and a £30 balance lasts very few spins at £2 or £5.
- Know the catch. The ranking’s casinos are licensed offshore, outside GamStop and the 10x cap. At a UK-licensed casino a 200% match, where one is offered, can carry no more than 10x.
A 200% deposit bonus is a match of twice your qualifying deposit, paid as bonus funds that must be wagered before they turn into withdrawable cash. At casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission the standard welcome match is 100% of a small first deposit. A 200% match is the rarer, more generous version, and when a licensed casino offers one it is typically on a modest first deposit such as £10. Since 19 January 2026 its wagering cannot exceed 10 times the bonus, so £20 of bonus needs £200 of stakes at most.
Three different headlines describe the same deal. “200% bonus”, “deposit £10, play with £30” and a “£30 free” banner whose small print asks for a deposit all mean £10 of your money plus £20 of the casino’s. The first is a percentage, the second a balance, the third a sales line, and the page on “£30 free” headlines takes that last one apart. In each case only the £20 is the bonus. The £10 was yours before you claimed anything, which is why every value on this page leaves it out.
The number 200 also appears in two look-alikes. Some welcome packages add up the percentages of several deposits, so 100% on the first and 50% on each of the next two is advertised as “200%” even though no single deposit is matched at that rate. And a 200% match is a different product from a package of 200 free spins, which at 10p a spin is £20 of play on one named slot rather than £20 of bonus funds.
Offshore casinos, licensed in places such as Curaçao, Anjouan or Costa Rica, run the same headline under different rules, and the casinos in the ranking hold licences of that kind. Wagering of 30x to 60x is common offshore, the multiple is sometimes applied to deposit and bonus together, and none of the UK protections (GamStop, the 10x cap, identity checks before play, a UK complaints route) applies. A 200% offer that asks for more than 10x is therefore not one a UK-licensed casino may make.
In short, a 200% match at 10x is a reasonable extra on a deposit you were going to make anyway: its formula value on £10 is £12, although most sessions run dry before the wagering is done. At 40x the same yardstick prices the bonus at −£12 and nine in ten simulated sessions ended with nothing, so an offer at that level is worth taking only with terms that protect the deposit, such as deposit-first play, and only with money you are ready to lose.
What to compare on each 200% offer
A 200% banner says the bonus is twice the deposit and nothing more. The lines below decide how much of that bonus you can expect to keep and how long it takes to clear; compare them on the ranking’s cards and in the terms behind every offer you shortlist.
| Check | Where to find it | Why it matters for a 200% match |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering multiple | The offer card, then the bonus terms | On the £20 bonus from £10, 10x is £200 of stakes and worth £12.00; 40x is £800 and −£12.00, and the simulated clearing rate falls from 28.9% to 9.8% |
| What the multiple is charged on | The bonus terms | On deposit plus bonus, 35x on the £30 balance is £1,050 of stakes, −£22.00 on paper and cleared by 8.3% of £10 sessions; the break-even falls from 25x to 16.7x |
| Ceiling and qualifying deposit | The headline and the offer card | Half the ceiling collects the whole bonus: £25 fills “200% up to £50”, and £50 paid in is a 100% match in effect |
| Order of play | The bonus terms on which balance is used first | Deposit-first terms lifted the share of £10 sessions ending above £10 at 40x from 9.6% to 23.8%, with a similar average (£10.09 against £11.46) |
| Maximum bet | The bonus terms | Breaking it can cost the bonus; at £2 a spin the £200 of a 10x requirement is 100 spins, about four minutes, against 1 h 23 min at 10p |
| Game weighting | The contribution table in the terms | At 10% the £200 needs £2,000 of table stakes, and an excluded slot adds nothing |
| Cap on winnings | The bonus terms | A cap of 5x on £20 stops withdrawals at £100, so the 40x sessions could average at most £9.80, less than the £10 paid in |
| Expiry and minimum withdrawal | The bonus and payment terms | 40x on a £20 deposit is eleven hours at 10p, over an hour and a half a day in a 7-day window; at 10x, 3.2% of £10 sessions cleared the wagering with £10 or less |
Rank offers on the first two rows and use the rest to rule them in or out. An offer that wins on the multiple but sets a maximum bet below your usual stake, or a deadline shorter than its play-through, is one you are unlikely to clear the way you want to play.
What a 200% bonus is worth at 10x, 40x and in between
A slot’s RTP (return to player) is the share of all money staked that it pays back over the long run. At 96%, each pound staked costs 4p on average, so any wagering requirement has an average price: the play-through multiplied by 4p. Take that price away from the bonus and you have the bonus’s value to someone who stakes every pound the requirement asks for:
E = B × (1 − W × (1 − RTP))
B is the bonus and W the wagering multiple. For £20 of bonus at 10x: £20 × (1 − 10 × 0.04) = £20 × 0.6 = £12.00. At 40x the bracket becomes 1 − 1.6 = −0.6, and the result is −£12.00. Treat this as the yardstick for comparing one offer with another. It is not a forecast for a single player, because real sessions stop when the money runs out, which the simulation section deals with.
| Deposit | Bonus (B) | Balance to play with | Stakes needed at 10x | Value at 10x | Stakes needed at 40x | Value at 40x |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| £10 | £20.00 | £30.00 | £200 | £12.00 | £800 | −£12.00 |
| £20 | £40.00 | £60.00 | £400 | £24.00 | £1,600 | −£24.00 |
| £50 | £100.00 | £150.00 | £1,000 | £60.00 | £4,000 | −£60.00 |
Read the table across rather than down. Every extra pound deposited at 200% adds £1.20 of formula value at 10x and removes £1.20 at 40x, so a larger deposit makes a fair offer better and a poor one worse in exact proportion. The deposit itself stays outside B in every row.
Wagered or not: the full ladder for £20 of bonus
The multiple does all the work. The same £20 across the range of requirements you are likely to meet, from none at all to the top of the offshore range:
| Wagering on the £20 | Stakes needed | Average cost at 96% | Value if completed | Share of the bonus kept |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| None (paid as cash) | £0 | £0.00 | £20.00 | 100% |
| 5x | £100 | £4.00 | £16.00 | 80% |
| 10x (UK maximum) | £200 | £8.00 | £12.00 | 60% |
| 20x | £400 | £16.00 | £4.00 | 20% |
| 25x | £500 | £20.00 | £0.00 | 0% |
| 35x | £700 | £28.00 | −£8.00 | −40% |
| 40x | £800 | £32.00 | −£12.00 | −60% |
| 60x | £1,200 | £48.00 | −£28.00 | −140% |
Two rows deserve a second look. The first is the no-wagering line: the model PlayOJO and MrQ are known for, where whatever a bonus wins is paid as cash. The second is 25x, the break-even point at 96% RTP, where 25 lots of 4p cost exactly the £1 of bonus they clear. Everything below it keeps some value; everything above it is priced as a loss, and a bigger match makes that loss bigger.
The ceiling: “200% up to £50”
Match offers state a maximum bonus, the “up to” figure, and on a 200% offer that ceiling arrives quickly because half the deposit is enough to reach it. On an illustrative “200% up to £50”:
| You deposit | Bonus credited | Effective match | Value at 10x |
|---|---|---|---|
| £10 | £20 | 200% | £12.00 |
| £25 | £50 | 200% | £30.00 |
| £50 | £50 | 100% | £30.00 |
| £100 | £50 | 50% | £30.00 |
The deposit that collects the whole bonus and nothing more is the ceiling divided by two. Anything above it is your own money in play with no bonus attached, so £50 into a “200% up to £50” offer is a 100% match in all but name.
How often a 200% match clears: 10x against 40x in simulation
The formula assumes the whole requirement gets staked. Real sessions rarely work that way. When the balance runs dry the session is over, the rest of the wagering is never paid for, and the bonus is forfeited along with the deposit. To measure what that does to a 200% match, each offer below was played through 20,000 simulated sessions on Model A, a model slot built for this site: 96% RTP, medium volatility, a win of some size on 27.9% of spins, a bonus round about once in 170 spins and a top prize of 2,500 times the stake. It is an illustration of a typical medium-volatility slot, not a copy of any real game.
Every session starts with deposit and bonus as a single balance. This is the “sticky” arrangement, in which nothing can be withdrawn until the wagering is met. It then spins at 20p until the play-through is complete or the balance drops below 20p. A session that completes keeps whatever is left; one that runs out ends with nothing.
What one player can expect
| 200% match | Play-through | Finished the wagering | Ended with nothing | Ended above the deposit | Ended with double the deposit or more |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| £10 deposit, 10x | £200 | 28.9% | 71.1% | 25.7% | 22.1% |
| £10 deposit, 40x | £800 | 9.8% | 90.2% | 9.6% | 9.2% |
| £20 deposit, 10x | £400 | 37.5% | 62.5% | 32.7% | 27.0% |
| £20 deposit, 40x | £1,600 | 12.3% | 87.7% | 12.1% | 11.6% |
For someone depositing £10, the 10x version works out at roughly one chance in four of ending ahead and seven in ten of losing the deposit. Moving the same offer to 40x cuts the chance of ending ahead to under one in ten. “Ended with nothing” means exactly that: the £10 is gone as well as the bonus. A £20 deposit finishes more often at both multiples because the larger starting balance survives more losing runs, yet 40x still cuts its finishing rate to about a third of the 10x figure, much as it does on £10.
What the averages say
| 200% match | Formula value of the bonus | Simulated average cash at the end | Simulated average net of the deposit | Average among sessions that finished |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| £10 deposit, 10x | £12.00 | £25.25 | £15.25 | about £87 |
| £10 deposit, 40x | −£12.00 | £21.46 | £11.46 | about £219 |
| £20 deposit, 10x | £24.00 | £48.13 | £28.13 | about £128 |
| £20 deposit, 40x | −£24.00 | £37.48 | £17.48 | about £305 |
The last column is the average cash divided by the share that finished, since every unfinished session contributes nothing. It explains the rest of the table. The simulated averages sit above the formula in every row, and at 40x they even have the opposite sign, for two reasons that have nothing to do with the offer being generous. Losses stop at the balance: a session that busts after £150 of stakes never pays for the other £650 of a 40x requirement. And the few sessions that land a large bonus round early carry a big balance all the way to the finish. At 40x on £10, the 9.8% who got through averaged about £219; spread across all 20,000 sessions that is £21.46 a head, while 90.2% ended with nothing.
An average built like that is correct arithmetic and a poor guide to your own deposit. The median, the result in the middle of the pack, was £0 in all four rows: fewer than half the sessions finished, so the middle session ended with nothing.
Against playing the £10 with no bonus
The same model also played a plain £10 deposit at 20p until £100 had been staked, ten times the deposit, or the money ran out. Those sessions ended above £10 in 10.9% of cases and averaged £8.45 at the end. Against that baseline, the 10x match more than doubles the chance of ending ahead, to 25.7%. The 40x match leaves it slightly lower, at 9.6%, in return for an average lifted by a small number of large wins and a requirement eight times as long as the baseline’s £100.
Where the formula and the simulation agree
Both put 10x well ahead of 40x. The formula separates them by £24 on a £10 deposit; the simulation by 19 points in the chance of finishing and 16 points in the chance of ending ahead. They disagree only on how big the average is, and the stopping rule accounts for that. Use the formula to rank offers on paper, and the finishing and ending-ahead rates to judge what one deposit is likely to do.
Bonus rounds, and what a cap would remove
A session that completes £200 of play at 20p makes 1,000 spins and, on Model A, sees at least one bonus round 99.7% of the time, about six on average. A 40x requirement on £10 means 4,000 spins and about 24 bonus rounds for those who get that far. Those rounds produce the large balances behind the averages above.
The simulation applied no limit on what bonus play could pay out. Suppose the terms capped withdrawals after bonus play at 5x the bonus, £100 on a £20 bonus. The 40x sessions could then have averaged at most 9.8% × £100 = £9.80 at the end, less than the £10 paid in. That is a ceiling worked out from the simulated finishing rate rather than a simulated figure, but it shows how much of an uncapped average rests on the rare large win that a cap takes away.
200% on £10 against 100% on £20: which route to the same bonus suits you
On paper, a 200% match on £10 and a 100% match on £20 are the same offer. Both credit £20 of bonus, both ask for £200 of stakes at 10x, and the formula gives both £12.00. The simulation tells them apart, because the second route starts with an extra £10 of your own money in the balance to absorb a losing run.
| Route to £20 of bonus | Your deposit | Starting balance | Wagering | Finished | Ended with nothing | Ended above what was paid in | Average net |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200% on £10 | £10 | £30 | 10x (£200) | 28.9% | 71.1% | 25.7% | £15.25 |
| 100% on £20 | £20 | £40 | 10x (£200) | 42.6% | 57.4% | 32.2% | £14.08 |
| 200% on £10 | £10 | £30 | 40x (£800) | 9.8% | 90.2% | 9.6% | £11.46 |
| 100% on £20 | £20 | £40 | 40x (£800) | 13.4% | 86.6% | 12.5% | £8.43 |
The bigger cushion finishes far more often: 42.6% against 28.9% at 10x. It also puts twice as much of your money at risk, and “ended above what was paid in” means above £20 on that route against above £10 on the 200% route. Measured per pound deposited, the 200% route returned just over £1.50 of average net at 10x and the 100% route about 70p.
Which suits you depends on what you meant to spend. With £10 in mind, the 200% match is the only one of the two that fits, and it does not tempt you to pay in more. With £20 in mind, the 100% match uses all of it and gets through the wagering more often, while the 200% match on £10 leaves the other £10 in your bank and still earns a slightly higher average net. The guide to the standard 100% match works through that offer on its own terms. Neither route escapes the multiple: at 10x both are worth £12 on the formula, and at 40x both are priced as a loss.
Clearing a 200% bonus: time, stakes, caps and withdrawals
Since 19 January 2026 a UK-licensed casino may ask for no more than 10 times the bonus. Offshore, 30x to 60x is common, and the multiple is sometimes applied to deposit and bonus together, which on a 200% match adds half as much again to the play-through: 35x on £30 is £1,050 of stakes, against £700 on the £20 alone. On the formula that version is worth −£22.00. In the simulation, 8.3% of £10 sessions finished it and the average net was £10.82, again held up by the few who finished with a large balance.
How long the wagering takes
Online slots at licensed casinos must take at least 2.5 seconds a spin, a rule in force since 31 October 2021, which turns any play-through into a minimum playing time. At that pace:
| Play-through | At 10p a spin | At 20p | At £1 | At £2 (the limit at 18 to 24) | At £5 (the limit from 25) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| £200: 10x on a £10 deposit | 2,000 spins, 1 h 23 min | 1,000 spins, 42 min | 200 spins, 8 min | 100 spins, 4 min | 40 spins, under 2 min |
| £400: 10x on a £20 deposit | 4,000 spins, 2 h 47 min | 2,000 spins, 1 h 23 min | 400 spins, 17 min | 200 spins, 8 min | 80 spins, 3 min |
| £800: 40x on a £10 deposit | 8,000 spins, 5 h 33 min | 4,000 spins, 2 h 47 min | 800 spins, 33 min | 400 spins, 17 min | 160 spins, 7 min |
| £1,600: 40x on a £20 deposit | 16,000 spins, 11 h 7 min | 8,000 spins, 5 h 33 min | 1,600 spins, 1 h 7 min | 800 spins, 33 min | 320 spins, 13 min |
Larger stakes get through the requirement faster without changing its average cost, which stays at 4p in the pound on a 96% slot. They do make each session swing harder, and a balance of £30 lasts very few spins at £2 or £5. Two sets of limits apply. The legal ones are £5 a spin from age 25 (since 9 April 2025) and £2 a spin for 18 to 24 year olds (since 21 May 2025). Bonus terms can add a lower maximum bet of their own while bonus funds are active, and breaking it can cost the bonus. Offshore games are bound by none of these rules, including the 2.5-second minimum, which shortens a session without making it any cheaper.
Minimum withdrawals
Finishing the wagering is not the same as being able to cash out. If the casino’s minimum withdrawal is £10, a session that finishes holding £7 cannot be paid out without more play or another deposit. In the £10 simulation at 10x, 3.2% of sessions finished the wagering yet ended at £10 or less (28.9% finished; 25.7% ended above £10). At 40x almost every finisher was well clear of that line, because only a large win carried a balance through £800 of stakes.
Expiry and caps
Bonus funds usually expire within a few days to 30 days of being credited. At 10x the time involved is modest: under an hour and a half at 10p for a £10 deposit. At 40x on £20 it is eleven hours of 10p spins, which a 7-day window turns into more than an hour and a half a day. The other term to find is a limit on what bonus play may pay out, often called a maximum cash-out or maximum win. It leaves the cost of the wagering untouched and removes only the large results, which, as the cap arithmetic above shows, are what hold the average up.
Calculator: price any 200% offer before you deposit
The calculator opens on a £10 deposit at 200% with 10x wagering on the bonus. Replace the deposit, match and multiple with the figures in the offer you are looking at, switch “Wagering applies to” to deposit plus bonus if the terms say so, and enter the slot’s RTP from its information screen if you have it. It returns the bonus, the play-through, the average cost of that play and what the bonus is worth if every pound of the requirement is staked, plus the time the play-through takes at 10p and at £1 a spin at the 2.5-second minimum. It cannot tell you your chance of finishing: for that, use the simulated rates above, which for a 200% match ran from 8.3% at 35x on deposit plus bonus on £10 to 37.5% at 10x on £20.
Where UK-licensed brands fit: deposit welcomes and the one-per-group rule
Welcome offers change far more often than a guide like this one, so no brand is tied here to a 200% match; the packages we link to are compared in the ranking at the top of the page. What can be said is how the large licensed groups build their welcomes, which tells you where a 200% match fits when you meet one, and how the group structure limits how many welcomes you can collect.
Sportsbook-led groups: the casino welcome follows a deposit
bet365 is a sportsbook first and a casino second, and its casino welcome offers are deposit-based as a rule; Heart Bingo belongs to the same privately owned group in Stoke-on-Trent. Flutter’s sportsbook brands, Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Bet, tie their casino welcomes to a first deposit or stake as a rule, while Sky Vegas is the group’s casino-first brand and the one most associated with no-deposit spins. Betway runs sportsbook and casino under a single name with deposit-based welcomes, and Kindred pairs the sportsbook-first Unibet, which has a casino attached, with the casino-first 32Red.
For a reader weighing a match, the practical consequence is that at these brands the casino offer is a deposit product, so the formula and the simulated rates on this page are the right tools for it. Since 19 January 2026 it must also stand on its own. No promotion may require two or more types of gambling, and the Commission’s own example is betting combined with slots, so a casino match that asks for a sports bet first is either out of date or not from a licensed site.
Casino and bingo platforms: “deposit £10, play with more”
Bally’s runs Virgin Games, Jackpotjoy, Monopoly Casino, Rainbow Riches Casino and Double Bubble Bingo on one platform built for bingo and casual games, where welcomes typically take the form “deposit £10, play with more”. That wording is worth decoding whichever brand uses it. Play with £20 is a 100% match, play with £30 a 200% match and play with £40 a 300% match; subtract the £10 and what remains is B, the only part with a value to calculate.
Entain combines the Ladbrokes and Coral high-street estates with a large bingo and casino family that includes Gala Casino, Gala Bingo, Foxy Bingo and PartyCasino. evoke, formerly 888, owns 888 Casino, which has been online since 1997, alongside William Hill, part of the group since 2022. LeoVegas, a mobile-first group that is part of MGM Resorts, supplies the licence and platform for BetMGM’s UK site, launched in 2023.
One welcome per group
A welcome offer is usually limited to one per person and household, and often to one per group. Several of Entain’s brands sit behind one account structure, which is why a single welcome per group is the norm there, and brands that share a licence holder, as BetMGM and LeoVegas do, may treat a welcome taken at one as used at the other. Before choosing where to use your one 200% match, find the licence holder printed in the site’s footer, with its Gambling Commission account number, and check both on the Commission’s public register.
Enforcement records
Fines and settlements are published against the licence holder rather than the brand. They do not tell you anything about a current offer, but they show whether the Commission has had to act against the company that will be holding your deposit. The largest recorded for the groups above: £19.2m for William Hill (2023) and £9.4m for 888 (2022), both now part of evoke; £17m for Entain (2022); £11.6m for Betway (2020); £7.1m for Kindred (2023); £3.25m for Betfred (2023); and £582,120 for bet365 (2024).
No-wagering brands and the high street
PlayOJO (SkillOnNet) and MrQ (Lindar Media) are built on a promise of no wagering on any bonus, so what a bonus wins is paid as cash. A 200% match at 10x carries a bigger headline with a requirement attached, and in the simulation about seven in ten £10 sessions ran out of money before meeting it. At the other end of the market, Betfred, Grosvenor Casinos, Genting Casino and Admiral Casino have a physical presence on British high streets, which makes them the easiest brands to verify and the slowest to disappear: worth something when the money at stake is your own deposit.
The offshore 200% offer: what 35x to 40x and the licence change
A search for a 200% deposit bonus turns up plenty of casinos that hold no licence for Great Britain. Their version of the offer differs from the licensed one in three ways that change its value: the wagering is not capped and often runs from 30x to 60x, it may be applied to deposit and bonus together, and the cashier may take cryptocurrency, which UK-licensed sites do not offer. The casinos in this page’s ranking hold licences of this kind, from Anjouan, Curaçao or Costa Rica; their packages need £20 or €20 and carry 35x to 40x, and each card lists the payment methods the casino takes.
Several of the names that reach British players this way are worth knowing. Mystake, Goldenbet, Rolletto, Donbet and Velobet are five brands run by one company, Santeda International B.V., under a Curaçao licence; none is on the UK register or connected to GamStop, all accept cryptocurrency, and the Commission cannot act on a complaint against any of them. Rainbet is a crypto-first casino licensed in Anjouan (Comoros) through RBGAMING N.V., taking deposits in Bitcoin and other coins. Kinghills and NineWin, both Curaçao-licensed and run by companies with networks of sister sites, launched recently with no public track record and are marketed to the UK through “not on GamStop” pages.
None of these sites is licensed in Great Britain. Offering gambling to people here without a Commission licence is an offence for the operator; the player is not prosecuted, but gives up every protection a licence carries. That list is long: GamStop self-exclusion, the 10x cap, identity checks before play, the deposit-limit prompt, the £5 and £2 stake limits, the 2.5-second spin minimum, a UK complaints route, and, on a crypto deposit, any help from a bank. The homepage section on checking offshore and fake offers shows how to confirm a licence on the Commission’s register.
The offshore structures in numbers
| 200% on £10, offshore terms | Stakes needed | Formula value | Simulated finish rate | Simulated share ending above £10 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 35x on the bonus | £700 | −£8.00 | 10.8% | 10.6% |
| 40x on the bonus | £800 | −£12.00 | 9.8% | 9.6% |
| 35x on deposit plus bonus | £1,050 | −£22.00 | 8.3% | 8.1% |
| 60x on the bonus | £1,200 | −£28.00 | not simulated | not simulated |
Every offshore structure in the table lands on the wrong side of the 25x break-even line, and the one that applies the multiple to your deposit as well reaches it sooner: on deposit plus bonus, a 200% match breaks even at 16.7x rather than 25x. Only one clause changed the odds much for a single player in the simulation. When the deposit is played first and can be withdrawn once it doubles, with the bonus used only if the deposit is lost, 23.8% of £10 sessions at 40x ended above £10, against 9.6% when deposit and bonus were locked together, and the average net was similar (£10.09 against £11.46). The 300% deposit bonus page sets those two arrangements side by side.
Reading a 200% offer’s terms, clause by clause
The clauses below are an illustration written for this page, not any casino’s real terms. Each is of a kind that appears in welcome-offer terms at licensed casinos, and each one moves the value or the odds in a way you can put a number on.
| Illustrative clause | What it does to the offer |
|---|---|
| “200% bonus up to £20 on your first deposit of £10 or more.” | Exactly £10 collects the whole bonus. A £20 deposit receives the same £20, which makes it a 100% match in effect. |
| “Opt in before depositing. One welcome offer per person, household and payment method.” | Deposit before opting in and you have made a plain deposit. Taking the offer here may also close the welcome at sister brands of the same group. |
| “Bonus funds must be wagered 10 times before they can be withdrawn.” | £200 of stakes, costing £8 on average at 96% RTP: a formula value of £12. In the simulation 28.9% of £10 sessions finished. |
| “Your deposit is played before your bonus. Withdrawing before the wagering is complete forfeits the bonus.” | The deposit-first order. If your own £10 grows you can take it and walk away, giving up the bonus; in a simulated 40x version, that order more than doubled the share ending ahead (23.8% against 9.6%). |
| “Slots contribute 100%; table and live games 10%; listed slots are excluded.” | At 10%, £200 of wagering needs £2,000 of table stakes. An excluded slot adds nothing to the counter however much you stake on it. |
| “Maximum stake while bonus funds are active: £2 per spin or hand.” | Limits how fast you can clear the bonus: at £2, the £200 takes 100 spins, about four minutes. A larger stake can void the bonus and its winnings. |
| “The bonus and any winnings from it expire 30 days after they are credited.” | At 10x on £10 this is ample: about 1 h 23 min of 10p spins. The same window at 40x on £20 would ask for eleven hours. |
| “Minimum withdrawal £10.” | A finished balance under £10 stays put. In the simulation 3.2% of £10 sessions at 10x finished at £10 or less. |
Two clauses carry most of the value: the multiple and the order in which the balances are played. The rest decide how long the offer takes and how easily you can trip over a rule. If a clause you are reading is vaguer than these, for example a right to cancel bonuses for “irregular play” with no definition, treat the vagueness as part of the price.
How to claim and clear a 200% match, step by step
At a UK-licensed casino the order of events is fixed by the rules, and following it avoids the common ways of losing a bonus before it starts. The same order is sound practice at an offshore casino from the ranking, even though no UK rule binds the site to it.
- Check the licence. Find the licence holder and Gambling Commission account number in the footer and look them up on the public register. If the site is licensed elsewhere, none of the protections below applies.
- Read the offer’s terms before registering. Note the ceiling, the minimum deposit, the multiple and whether it applies to the bonus alone, the expiry, the maximum bet and the games that count. Put the first four into the calculator above.
- Register and verify. Since 7 May 2019 a licensed casino has had to confirm your age and identity before you gamble, bonus play included. Keep your documents to hand; nothing starts until the checks are done.
- Set a deposit limit at the prompt. Since 31 October 2025 every new customer is asked to choose one before the first deposit. Set it at the sum you planned, £10 for a 200% match up to £20, not at the ceiling the offer could reach.
- Opt in, then deposit by debit card. Opt in first if the terms require it. Credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020, so “add a card” means a debit card. Deposit the amount that collects the full bonus and no more.
- Play eligible games within the maximum bet. Slots usually count in full towards wagering. Keep every stake under the bonus’s maximum bet and under the legal limit, £5 a spin at 25 and over or £2 at 18 to 24, and follow the wagering counter instead of guessing. Plan the session around the multiple: at 20p a spin, 10x on a £10 deposit is 1,000 spins, about 42 minutes at the 2.5-second minimum, while 40x on the same deposit is 4,000 spins and 2 h 47 min.
- Finish before the expiry, then withdraw. When the counter reaches zero the balance is cash. Withdraw the part you want to keep; anything left in play goes back to being stakes.
Red flags to check before claiming a 200% offer
Each of these points either to a casino outside Gambling Commission rules or to terms that drain the value of an otherwise ordinary match:
- Wagering above 10x. Not allowed at a UK-licensed casino since 19 January 2026. At 40x a 200% match on £10 is priced at −£12.00, and nine in ten simulated sessions ended with nothing.
- A multiple on deposit plus bonus. It adds half again to the play-through of a 200% match and moves the break-even point from 25x down to 16.7x.
- A sports bet to unlock a casino bonus. Promotions that require more than one type of gambling have been banned since 19 January 2026.
- Bonus play before identity checks. A licensed casino verifies age and identity before any gambling. “No verification needed” is a description of an unlicensed site.
- Crypto deposits or credit cards. Crypto deposits are not offered at licensed sites; credit cards have been banned since 14 April 2020.
- “Not on GamStop” marketing. It is aimed at people who have self-excluded, and it means the site sits outside every UK protection.
- A cash-out limit tied to the bonus. A cap of 5x on £20 stops withdrawals at £100 and removes exactly the large wins that make up most of the simulated average.
- Autoplay or very fast spins. Licensed slots have had no autoplay and a 2.5-second minimum since 31 October 2021.
200% against 100%, 300%, 400% and 200 spins: which pays more
Each match below starts from £10 of your own money and uses the same sticky arrangement, slot model and 20p stake, so the rows differ only in the size of the bonus. The spins row is included because “200” in a headline so often means spins rather than a percentage.
| Offer | Bonus, or average spin winnings | Value at 10x (formula) | Finished 10x (simulated) | Ended above the £10 (simulated, 10x) | Finished 40x (simulated) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100% match on £10 | £10.00 | £6.00 | 33.1% | 26.1% | 10.1% |
| 200% match on £10 (this page) | £20.00 | £12.00 | 28.9% | 25.7% | 9.8% |
| 300% match on £10 | £30.00 | £18.00 | 28.5% | 26.5% | 9.4% |
| 400% match on £10 | £40.00 | £24.00 | 28.8% | 27.3% | 10.1% |
| 200 free spins at 10p, winnings wagered at 10p | £19.20 | £11.52 | 21.0% | not comparable | not simulated |
Two patterns stand out. On the formula, value scales with the match: each extra 100% on £10 adds £6 at 10x and takes £6 away at 40x. In the simulation, the chance of getting through barely moves with the match size, between 28.5% and 33.1% at 10x and around one in ten at 40x, because a bigger bonus brings a bigger balance along with its bigger requirement. The percentage on the banner changes how much is at stake when things go well, not the odds of finishing. The multiple changes the odds.
The neighbouring pages take each row further. The 100% match is the standard licensed welcome; the 300% headline and the 400% match headlines are mostly offshore and show the same arithmetic at larger sizes; the breakdown of “£30 free” banners decodes this exact offer when it is sold as free money; and the guide to 200-spin welcome packages weighs a spin package at 10x against a £20 match. On the formula those last two are 48p apart, £11.52 against £12.00, and the choice between them turns on whether you would rather have the stake and game fixed for you or choose both within the bonus rules.
Keeping a tripled balance inside your budget
A 200% match triples the number on the screen, and a bigger balance makes bigger stakes feel ordinary. Decide your stake before the bonus lands rather than after: at 20p a spin, £30 is 150 spins, while at £2 it can be gone in fifteen. The legal limits, £5 a spin from age 25 and £2 for 18 to 24 year olds, are ceilings, not targets.
Use the deposit-limit prompt that every new customer at a licensed casino now sees before the first deposit. Setting it at the £10 you planned, rather than at the bonus ceiling, keeps a 200% offer from becoming a reason to pay in more. The time figures matter too: a 40x requirement on £20 is eleven hours of 10p spins, and an offer that asks for that much play is asking for a lot of your evenings.
If you want a break, licensed casinos let you take a time-out from your account, and GamStop lets you self-exclude from every UK-licensed online casino at once. Offshore sites are outside GamStop, which is why “not on GamStop” pages are a warning sign rather than a feature. If gambling has stopped being something you choose, the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133, and BeGambleAware lists further support.
One habit protects the value of any match: withdraw what you mean to keep once the wagering is done. A finished balance left in the account is just a larger set of stakes waiting to be played.
How we worked out the numbers
Values use E = B × (1 − W × (1 − RTP)) at 96% RTP, with the player’s deposit left out of B. That figure is what the bonus is worth to someone who stakes the entire requirement, and it is the fairest way to compare one offer with another.
The simulated figures come from Model A, a model slot with 96% RTP, medium volatility, a 27.9% hit rate, a bonus round about once in 170 spins and a maximum win of 2,500 times the stake. Each match was run for 20,000 sessions at 20p a spin. In the sticky runs, deposit and bonus formed one balance played until the wagering was met or the balance fell below the stake; in the deposit-first run, the deposit was played first and withdrawn once it doubled, with the bonus used only if the deposit was lost. The no-bonus baseline used 40,000 sessions. “Ended with nothing” is 100% minus the finishing share, and “average among sessions that finished” is the average cash divided by that share. Averages from 20,000 sessions can shift by a pound or two between runs because they lean on a few hundred very large results; finishing rates are steadier.
The limits are real. Model A is not a real game, and real games’ pay tables are not public. Every session uses one fixed stake, and no game weighting, maximum bet, expiry or cap on winnings was applied, so an offer with a cap is worth less than the simulated averages. The ranking at the top of the page uses its own criteria, explained under how we evaluate and rank offers.
Frequently asked questions
Which 200% deposit bonus is the best value?
One with 10x wagering or less on the bonus alone. On £10 the £20 bonus is then worth £12.00 on paper, and 28.9% of sessions simulated on a model slot cleared it. The ranking on this page compares deposit packages from offshore-licensed casinos that need £20 or €20 and carry 35x to 40x; at 40x a 200% match on £20 is a £40 bonus priced at −£24.00, so among such offers the order of play matters most. In the site’s simulation of 200% on £10 at 40x, playing the deposit first lifted the share of sessions ending above the deposit from 9.6% to 23.8%.
How much is a 200% bonus on a £10 deposit worth?
£12 if all £200 of a 10x requirement is staked on a 96% RTP slot, because that much play costs £8 on average. In 20,000 simulated sessions on a model slot at 20p a spin, 28.9% finished the wagering, the average net was £15.25 and 71.1% ended with nothing.
Do UK-licensed casinos offer 200% deposit bonuses?
Sometimes, usually on a small first deposit, and since 19 January 2026 never with wagering above 10 times the bonus. The standard licensed welcome is a 100% match. A 200% headline with 30x to 60x wagering comes from an offshore casino that is not licensed in Great Britain, so check the licence number on the Gambling Commission’s public register before depositing.
Is a 200% match better than a 100% match?
At 10x it is worth twice as much on the same deposit: £12 against £6 on £10. At 40x it costs twice as much on the formula. For the same £20 bonus, a 100% match on £20 finished the wagering more often in the model-slot simulation, 42.6% against 28.9% at 10x, but put twice as much of your money at risk. Per pound deposited, the 200% route returned the higher average net.
Why is the simulated average positive at 40x when the formula gives −£12?
Real sessions stop when the balance runs out, so most never pay for the full £800 of stakes, and the few that land a large win early carry a big balance to the end. At 40x on £10, 9.8% of sessions simulated on a model slot finished and averaged about £219 each, while 90.2% ended with nothing.
How long does it take to clear a 200% bonus?
At the UK minimum of 2.5 seconds a spin, 10x on a £10 deposit, which is £200 of stakes, takes about 1 hour 23 minutes at 10p or 8 minutes at £1. A 40x requirement on a £20 deposit, £1,600 of stakes, takes about 11 hours at 10p. Bigger stakes shorten the time but not the average cost, which stays at 4p in every pound on a 96% slot.
What does “deposit £10, play with £30” mean?
It is a 200% match described by its balance: for every £1 you deposit, up to the offer’s ceiling, the casino adds £2 of bonus funds. You pay £10 and receive £20 of bonus, so £30 is in play. Only the £20 is the bonus, which has to be wagered before it can be withdrawn and is worth £12 at 10x on the formula; the £10 was already yours.
Can I withdraw my deposit before finishing the wagering?
That depends on the order of balances in the terms. Where deposit and bonus are locked together, nothing can be withdrawn until the wagering is met. Where the deposit is played first, terms of that kind let you withdraw it, but doing so forfeits the bonus and anything won with it.
What does “200% up to £50” mean for a bigger deposit?
The bonus stops at £50, which a £25 deposit already reaches. A £50 deposit still receives £50, a 100% match in effect, and £100 receives £50, or 50%. Deposit half the ceiling to collect the full 200% and nothing more.
Is a 200% welcome package over several deposits the same as a 200% match?
No. A package adds up the percentages of separate deposits, for example 100% on the first and 50% on each of the next two. Three £10 deposits then bring £20 of bonus for £30 paid in: the same bonus as a single 200% match on £10, for three times the outlay.
