Bingo Sign Up Bonus UK: Welcome Offer Formats, How to Claim One and the Terms That Decide Its Value (October 2026)

  • Updated October 2026

  • 18+

Bingo sign up bonuses at UK-licensed sites are deposit offers, most often a match on a small first deposit sold as “deposit £10, play with more”, and this guide sets out the formats they take, how to claim one and which terms decide what it is worth. The ranking below holds casino welcome packages rather than bingo ones, each starting at a £20 or €20 deposit with a casino licensed offshore, and every card prints its licence and terms. For a bingo welcome the wagering multiple outweighs the headline: a £20 bonus wagered 4x in rooms paying back 90% keeps £12.00 on the formula, as much as a slot bonus at 10x, while the same £20 at 10x keeps £0.00.

    Terms, licence and verdict

Player-friendly terms by offshore standards: 35x rather than the usual 40x, a €5 maximum bet, two weeks to clear, and free-spin winnings paid as cash. The arithmetic is still against the player: a €20 first deposit earns a €30 bonus that needs €1,050 of slot play, an expected cost of about €42 on a 96% game, so the match is worth less than nothing on average and the free spins are the only part with positive value. Licensed in Anjouan (ALSI-202601040-FI2), operated under the names BetPortal Gaming Ltd and Excite Ultra Media Ltd; not on the Gambling Commission register and not connected to GamStop.

A five-deposit package whose headline, €5,000, is reached only by depositing €1,000 five times. At the €20 minimum the first stage is a €20 bonus that needs €800 of play at 40x, an expected cost of about €32, so the match has negative value on average; the spins are capped at €100 of winnings per batch and expire within a day. Launched in 2025 under a Curaçao licence; not on the Gambling Commission register and not connected to GamStop. The maximum bet while a bonus is active is not published, which is a term worth asking support for before depositing.

Launched in 2026 and operated by PrimeTier Limited of Costa Rica, a brand with no track record yet. The package has the same shape as WinBeast: five deposits, 40x wagering, and at the £20 minimum a first-stage bonus that needs £800 of play. The 5x conversion cap limits what any stage can pay out. Not on the Gambling Commission register and not connected to GamStop; the lootbox and tournament promotions sit outside the welcome terms entirely.

A generous-looking first-deposit match with the least documented terms. A £20 deposit at 200% is a £40 bonus that needs £1,600 of play at 40x, an expected cost of about £64, so the headline generosity is the most expensive to clear. The maximum win, expiry and maximum bet are not published where a player can read them before depositing, and the Curaçao licence number could not be matched to a regulator entry. £12.00 against £0.00: formula value of a £20 bonus at 10x on a 96% slot, and in bingo rooms paying back 90% (illustrative rate).

4x: the wagering at which a bingo bonus in rooms paying back 90% keeps what a slot bonus keeps at 10x. At an 80% payback the equivalent is 2x.

33%: share of £10 deposits with a £10 slot match at 10x that finished the wagering in a 20,000-session simulation on Model A, the site’s 96% model slot. The other 67% ended with nothing, deposit included.

About 28 hours: the time needed to buy the £200 of 10p tickets that a £20 bonus at 10x requires, at six tickets a game and an illustrative 12 games an hour.

A bingo welcome is a deposit offer with one awkward input. The formula this site applies to every bonus needs a return figure, and a slot supplies one in its information screen; a bingo room does not, because its payback depends on its prize rules and on how many tickets are sold. This guide therefore values bingo sign-up offers at stated, illustrative payback rates and sets each one beside a slot bonus of the same size, which is the comparison a player choosing between a bingo site and a casino actually faces.

It belongs to the casino welcome bonus guide, which compares deposit offers of every kind. Free tickets and free rooms that need no deposit follow different arithmetic and are covered in the guide to free bingo with no deposit.

A bingo player should be clear about the ranking at the top before reading on. It is made up of casino offers: its four casinos hold offshore licences (Anjouan, Curaçao or Costa Rica), their welcome packages are for casino games, start at a £20 or €20 deposit and carry 35x to 40x wagering, and not one of them is a bingo welcome. The bingo sign-up offers this page values come from UK-licensed bingo sites, where the 10x cap, GamStop and the British complaints process all apply.

Quick answer: picking and claiming a bingo welcome offer

  • Look for bingo welcomes at UK-licensed bingo brands. Bally’s (Gamesys), whose bingo and casual-games brands include Double Bubble Bingo, Jackpotjoy and Virgin Games, typically frames its welcomes as “deposit £10, play with more”; Entain, owner of Gala Bingo and Foxy Bingo, runs several of its brands through one account structure, so expect one welcome across the group. None of these brands is shown as running any specific offer today.
  • Strip your own money out of the headline. “Deposit £10, play with £30” is a £20 bonus on a £10 deposit, a 200% match, and the £10 you put in is no part of what the offer is worth.
  • Judge the multiple against the rooms. A £20 bonus keeps £12.00 at 4x in rooms paying back 90% but £0.00 at 10x; in rooms paying back 80% it needs 2x to keep what a slot bonus keeps at the cap.
  • Claim in the order the rules set. Read the terms, pass the age and identity check, answer the deposit-limit prompt, opt in if asked, then deposit by debit card; a deposit made before the opt-in may not qualify.
  • Match the expiry to your pace. At six 10p tickets a game and 12 games an hour, the £200 of tickets that 10x on £20 demands takes 27 h 50 min, and a 7-day expiry would mean four hours a day.
  • Read the ranking as casino-only. Its cards are casino deposit packages, with a smallest qualifying deposit of £20 or €20 and a wagering line of 35x to 40x, at casinos licensed offshore; none of them is a bingo welcome.

At UK-licensed sites a bingo sign up bonus is a reward for putting money in. The qualifying step is a first deposit or a first spend on tickets; the reward is bingo bonus funds, sometimes with free tickets or a spell in a new-player room on top. Groups that run bingo and casual-games brands typically frame it as “deposit £10, play with more”, and UK-licensed welcome matches are usually 100% of a small first deposit, sometimes 200%.

The rules around it are the ones that govern every welcome. Wagering cannot exceed 10 times the bonus, and promotions that require two or more types of gambling are banned, both since 19 January 2026. The Commission’s example of a banned combination is betting with slots, so read a bingo welcome’s qualifying steps and check that it does not also require slot play before it pays out. New customers are prompted to set a deposit limit before the first deposit, a rule since 31 October 2025, and the deposit has to come from a debit card or another accepted method, because credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020.

The headline figure usually includes your own money. “Deposit £10, play with £30” is a £20 bonus on a £10 deposit, a 200% match, and the £10 is yours whatever happens, so it is no part of the offer’s value. The next section decodes the forms such headlines take.

Offshore sites advertise matches of 300% and 400% with wagering of 30 to 60 times, under licences from Curaçao or Anjouan. None of them holds a licence for Great Britain, which puts them outside the 10x cap, GamStop and the UK complaint routes, and with a deposit offer the money they hold is yours. The casinos in our ranking belong to that offshore world too, although what they are listed with is casino packages, not bingo welcomes.

On value, the short version is this: a bingo bonus is worth what is left after its wagering at the payback of the rooms it can be used in. At the 10x cap and a 90% payback the formula leaves £0.00, so the multiple, the rooms and the expiry deserve more of your attention than the size of the headline.

What to compare on each bingo welcome offer

Bingo welcomes look alike in their banners and differ sharply in their terms. Each row below names a term, the place it is printed and what it did to the worked examples on this page, so two offers can be ranked against each other before either deposit is made.

Term to compareWhere it appearsWhat it did in this page’s examples
The bonus on its ownThe headline, then the first lines of the terms“Play with £30” on a £10 deposit is £20 of bonus; only that £20 has a value to work out
Wagering multipleThe significant terms£20 at 4x keeps £12.00 in rooms paying back 90% and £0.00 at 10x; offshore 40x at an 80% payback puts the formula at −£140.00
Rooms the bonus may be used inThe terms, then each room’s prize rulesA fixed £20 prize pays back 100% with 200 tickets sold and 50% with 400, which moves the same bonus at 4x from £20.00 to −£20.00

Ticket-price limit and expiryThe terms4x on £20 is 800 tickets at 10p, 11 h 10 min at six a game; 10x is 2,000 tickets and 27 h 50 min
Wallet order and forfeitureThe terms on withdrawalsDecides whether a win on your own money can leave before the wagering is done, and whether taking it cancels the bonus
Licence and groupThe site footer and the public registerLicensed sites answer to the 10x cap, GamStop and Britain’s complaints process; within one group, a second brand’s welcome is usually closed to you

The multiple and the rooms do most of the work, and one sum ties them together: the multiple at which a bingo bonus keeps 60% of its value, as a slot bonus does at 10x, is 0.4 ÷ (1 − payback). That is 4x for rooms paying back 90% and 2x at 80%, so an offer at or below that line is competitive with a slot welcome and one well above it is mostly a commitment of evenings. If two welcomes pass that test, the expiry against your pace and the wallet order are the tie-breakers.

UK bingo welcome formats: how each package is built

Bingo welcomes are assembled from a small set of parts. Decoding a headline into those parts, and then into B, the bonus on its own, is the first step towards valuing one:

  • Deposit match. Bonus funds equal to a percentage of the first deposit: a 100% match doubles the balance, a 200% match triples it.
  • Fixed bonus for a fixed deposit. “Deposit £10, get £20” is a 200% match in all but name.
  • Spend to qualify. The bonus arrives only after a set amount has been spent on tickets, not merely deposited, and that spend has already been through the games at a cost.
  • Free tickets or room access on top. Valued like no-deposit free bingo: tickets × price × payback, or the room’s prize divided by the tickets in play.
  • Tiers over several deposits. Each tier is a separate offer with its own deposit, bonus and wagering, so value each one before adding them up.
  • Slot spins bundled in. Valued on the slot’s RTP, separately from the bingo bonus. Check that using them is optional.
Illustrative headlineYour money inBonus BMatchPlay-through at 10x10p tickets at 10x

Deposit £20, get £20£20 deposit£20100%£2002,000
Spend £10, get £20£10 spent on tickets£20n/a£2002,000

Two rows are easy to misread. “Play with £30” counts your own £10, so the bonus is £20, not £30. And “spend £10” is not the same as “deposit £10”: a deposit sits in your balance until you use it, while a qualifying spend has already been played. At a payback of 80%, spending £10 on tickets costs £2 on average before the bonus arrives; at 90% it costs £1, and on a 96% slot it would cost 40p.

Which bingo welcome is worth most: bonus, wagering and payback

With B isolated, the formula used for every bonus on this site gives its value if the wagering is played through in full:

E = B × (1 − W × (1 − R))

W is the wagering multiple and R the payback of the rooms where the bonus can be used, meaning the share of ticket money returned as prizes. The deposit is never part of B. W counts every pound of tickets bought with the bonus, the first pound included, so a bingo bonus advertised with no wagering is still spent once and is worth B × R, not B. The paybacks of 70%, 80% and 90% are illustrations, set beside the 96% slot benchmark:

Bonus and wageringTickets boughtSlot benchmark, 96%Bingo rooms, 90%Rooms at 80%Rooms at 70%

£20 at 10x£200£12.00£0.00−£20.00−£40.00

Read across any row and the payback does as much work as the multiple. A £20 bonus at 4x keeps £12.00 in rooms paying back 90% and £4.00 at 80%; at 10x it reaches £0.00 at 90%, the point where the average cost of £200 of tickets equals the bonus. The headline sum scales every figure, but it cannot rescue a bonus whose multiple is too high for its rooms.

These are values if the wagering is completed, the yardstick for comparing offers, not a forecast for one player. With a deposit bonus, real play departs from them in two ways: if deposit and bonus sit in one balance, a bad run takes the deposit as well as the bonus, and a good run early can carry the whole balance through. The next section uses the site’s slot simulation to show how that works out on a 96% game, the nearest measured case, and what the gap in payback means for bingo.

Bingo bonus or slot bonus: which keeps more at the same wagering

A bingo site and a casino can both advertise “£20 bonus, 10x wagering” and mean very different offers. On a 96% slot, ten times £20 is £200 of play costing £8 on average, so the bonus keeps £12.00. In bingo rooms paying back 90%, the same £200 of tickets costs £20, all of the bonus. A fair comparison asks what multiple a bingo bonus would need in order to keep what the slot bonus keeps, which is 60% of its face value.

A £20 bingo sign up bonus wagered 10x has a formula value of £12.00 on a 96% slot, £4.00 in rooms paying back 92%, £0.00 at 90% and −£20.00 at 80%; in 90% rooms it needs 4x or less to keep what the slot bonus keeps.
Each point of payback below 96% takes £2 off a £20 bonus at 10x, so the cap that leaves a slot bonus worth £12.00 leaves a bingo bonus worth nothing in 90% rooms and well below zero at 80%.

The table turns the 10x cap into a yardstick for bingo. In rooms paying back 90%, a bingo bonus has to be wagered no more than 4 times to match a slot bonus at the cap; at 80%, no more than twice. Put the other way round, a bingo bonus at 10x is a much weaker offer than a slot bonus at 10x unless its rooms pay back close to 96%, while a bingo bonus at 4x in 90% rooms is, on the formula, exactly as good as the slot bonus at the cap.

None of the payback rows is a measured figure for a real site. Under the Commission’s remote technical standards, a licensed site must set out a game’s rules and the way its prizes are shared out before anyone plays, and for most games it must also give the return to player or the house edge. Bingo is treated differently: because its odds turn on the final number of players in each game, describing the prize allocation is enough. The payback is therefore something you work out from a room’s prize rules, not a figure the site has to show you.

What usually happens to a deposit bonus: the slot simulation

Formula values describe complete play-through. For what usually happens, the nearest measured case is the site’s deposit-match simulation on Model A (96% RTP, medium volatility), run at 20p stakes with 20,000 sessions per row, deposit and bonus played together until the wagering is met or the balance runs out:

£10 depositWageringFinishedEnded with nothingAverage cash at the endAverage net of the depositEnded above the depositEnded with £20 or more
With a £10 bonus (100% match)10x on the bonus33.1%66.9%£17.86£7.8626.1%19.8%
No bonus, played until £100 is stakedNonen/an/a£8.45−£1.5510.9%n/a

On the slot, a third of the £10-plus-£10 players finished, and average cash ended above the formula value because a session stops at zero instead of going below it. The gain is concentrated in that minority: one session in five ended with £20 or more, double the deposit. The other two thirds ended with nothing, deposit included, which is the side of a deposit bonus that averages hide. Without any bonus, the same £10 played until £100 had been staked averaged £8.45 and ended above the deposit 10.9% of the time, so on the slot the bonus more than doubled the chance of leaving with more than you paid in.

For bingo, every pound of play-through costs more wherever rooms pay back less than 96%, so fewer players would finish and the averages would sit lower. No bingo model was run, so the size of that gap is left open here. What carries over from the slot model is the shape: an average held up by a minority who finish well, and a typical player who spends the deposit and the bonus without reaching a withdrawal.

Room, ticket and expiry limits: how they change the value and the time

Bingo bonus terms typically limit where a bonus can be used, on what ticket prices and for how long. Each limit moves the value, the time needed or both, and none of them shows in the headline.

Rooms: choose the offer whose rooms pay back most

A bonus confined to named rooms takes those rooms’ payback, not the most generous rate on the site. Where a room pays out a set share of ticket sales, its payback is that share. Where it pays a fixed prize, the payback depends on attendance, as a fixed £20 prize in a room selling 10p tickets shows:

Tickets sold for the gameTicket moneyPayback of a fixed £20 prize
100£10200%
200£20100%
250£2580%
400£4050%
1,000£10020%

The same bonus can therefore be worth very different amounts at different times of day. In the 200-ticket game, where the fixed prize returns 100% of ticket money, playing a £20 bonus through 4x has no expected cost and the formula keeps the full £20.00; in the 400-ticket game, at 50%, the same £80 of tickets costs £40 on average and the formula value is −£20.00. If the terms confine the bonus to fixed-prize rooms, their busiest hours are when the payback is lowest, and a quiet game in the same room can pay back more than the ticket money taken.

Ticket prices: how many tickets, and how long

A limit on ticket prices, such as bonus play only on tickets up to 10p, does not change the average cost of wagering, which is fixed by the total spent and the payback. It changes how many tickets you have to buy and how long that takes. A £20 bonus at 10x needs £200 of tickets, 2,000 at 10p, and at 4x it needs £80, or 800. At an illustrative pace of 12 games an hour:

10p tickets bought each gameGames for £200 (10x)TimeGames for £80 (4x)Time
12,000166 h 40 min80066 h 40 min
633427 h 50 min13411 h 10 min
1216713 h 55 min675 h 35 min
24847 h342 h 50 min
48423 h 30 min171 h 25 min
At one 10p ticket a game, a £20 bingo sign up bonus needs 166 h 40 min of play at 10x and 66 h 40 min at 4x; at six tickets a game it needs 27 h 50 min and 11 h 10 min, assuming 12 games an hour.
Bingo wagering is measured in evenings: at six tickets a game the 10x version alone fills almost 28 hours, which a 30-day expiry only just covers at an hour a day.

A slot clears the same £200 in 83 minutes 20 seconds at 10p a spin, or 8 minutes 20 seconds at £1, at the 2.5-second minimum spin time. Bingo moves at the pace of the game, so its wagering becomes a commitment of evenings rather than minutes, and buying more tickets a game is the only way to speed it up. That puts more money into each game without changing the average cost.

Expiry against pace

Set the time against the deadline. At six 10p tickets a game and 12 games an hour you buy £7.20 of tickets an hour. An hour a day clears £200 in about 28 days, so a 30-day expiry is only just enough, while a 7-day expiry would lapse with £50.40 bought, about a quarter of the requirement. At 4x, the £80 needs 11 hours 10 minutes of play, which inside 7 days is about an hour and a half a day.

Two more limits are worth finding while you are in the terms. Bonus tickets may be excluded from jackpot or special games, which narrows where the bonus can go. And if a room caps how many tickets one player can buy per game, that cap also sets the fastest pace at which any requirement can be cleared.

Wagering, caps and withdrawals: what to accept on a bingo welcome

The UK cap of 10 times the bonus applies to a bingo bonus exactly as it does to any other bonus at a licensed site. Offshore sites commonly ask 30 to 60 times. The table puts the formula at the slot benchmark and at an illustrative bingo payback beside the slot simulation on Model A, at 20p stakes, for the same £20 bonus on a £10 deposit:

Wagering on a £20 bonusPlay-throughFormula at 96% (slot)Formula at 80% (bingo, illustrative)Slot simulation: finishedSlot simulation: average cash
4x£80£16.80£4.00not simulatednot simulated
10x (UK cap)£200£12.00−£20.0028.9%£25.25
35x (offshore)£700−£8.00−£120.0010.8%£22.73
40x (offshore)£800−£12.00−£140.009.8%£21.46

On the slot model, moving from 10x to 40x cut the share of sessions that finished from 28.9% to 9.8%, and at every multiple fewer than half finished, so the median player ended with nothing. In bingo rooms paying back 80%, the offshore multiples imply £140 to £160 of expected cost on a £20 bonus, which is why the formula value falls so far below zero. Nobody loses that much in practice, because a session ends when the balance is gone; the figure measures how far completion lies from typical play.

Caps on bonus winnings

A deposit bonus can carry a maximum on what bonus play may turn into cash. The site’s simulations did not apply such caps, and a cap removes exactly the rare large wins that hold the averages up, so a capped offer is worth less than the figures above. The anatomy section below includes a cap of five times the bonus and shows where it bites.

Wallet order and withdrawals

Two terms decide whether your deposit stays yours. Some offers use your cash before the bonus funds, so a win on your own money can be withdrawn, sometimes at the cost of the bonus; others lock deposit and bonus together until the wagering is met. In the “real money first” version of the slot simulation on Model A, where the deposit is played first, withdrawn once it doubles and the bonus used only if the deposit is lost, a £20 deposit with a £20 bonus at 10x ended above the deposit 30.1% of the time with average cash of £30.39, against 32.2% and £34.08 when the two were locked together.

Read which order the terms describe, and whether a withdrawal before the wagering is complete forfeits the bonus. A minimum withdrawal, such as £10, matters less on a deposit offer than on free bingo, because the deposit itself usually clears it; it starts to matter once the deposit has gone and only bonus winnings remain.

Bingo welcome calculator: value an offer before you deposit

Enter your deposit, the match percentage (200 for “deposit £10, get £20”) and the multiple, and put the payback of the rooms the bonus may be used in into the payback box. If the prize rules do not make the payback clear, try 80 and 90, and type 96 to see the same offer as a slot bonus. Leave the base on the bonus unless the terms apply the wagering to deposit plus bonus.

What it returns is the value on full play-through, plus the number of 10p or £1 tickets that play-through needs; take the hours from the pace table above. The calculator opens on this page’s example, a £10 deposit with a 200% bingo match, 4x wagering and a 90% payback, which comes to £12.00, the same as a £20 slot bonus at 10x; set the wagering to 10, the most a licensed site may ask, and the value falls to £0.00.

Where to find bingo welcomes: UK brands and their groups

Bingo welcomes in the licensed market come from brands like these, and the ranking at the top includes none of them, since its entries are offshore casinos listed with casino packages. A deposit welcome ties you to a group as well as a brand. The general rules are the same everywhere in the licensed market: usually one welcome per person and household, often one per group; age and identity checks before play; GamStop membership; no credit cards; and wagering capped at 10x since 19 January 2026. Cryptocurrency is missing from licensed cashiers too, although it is not banned outright. What differs is how each group packages a bingo welcome and what its enforcement record shows. Nothing below describes an offer that any brand is running now.

Bally’s (Gamesys): the “deposit £10, play with more” model

Jackpotjoy, Virgin Games, Double Bubble Bingo, Rainbow Riches Casino and Monopoly Casino share one platform built for bingo and casual games, owned by Bally’s through Gamesys. Welcomes across these brands are typically “deposit £10, play with more”, which is precisely the structure this page values: a fixed deposit, a bonus that is a multiple of it, and wagering to clear. The group also runs frequent small promotions for existing players, so the welcome is not the last bonus a customer sees, and each later one deserves the same arithmetic of payback, multiple and expiry.

Entain: Gala Bingo, Foxy Bingo and a shared account structure

Entain’s bingo estate includes Gala Bingo and Foxy Bingo, next to Gala Casino, PartyCasino and the Ladbrokes and Coral bookmakers. Several of these brands sit behind one account structure, so the group normally allows one welcome per customer across them: taking a bingo welcome at Foxy Bingo can mean no welcome at Gala Bingo. Entain’s largest Commission penalty, a £17m fine or settlement in 2022, was recorded against the licence holder rather than against a single brand.

bet365: Heart Bingo

Heart Bingo is part of bet365, which puts its sportsbook first and its casino second and, as a rule, ties casino welcomes to a deposit. bet365’s largest Commission fine or settlement, £582,120 in 2024, is modest beside the others on this page; like every record of its kind it is published against the licence holder, not the brand name on the site.

Jumpman Gaming: when the headline is a prize wheel

Amazon Slots, Dream Jackpot and Prime Casino, run by Jumpman Gaming, are sites whose welcome is a spin of a prize wheel on a first deposit. Their headline figure is the largest prize that wheel can pay rather than the typical one, so the value is the average prize across the wheel, always below the headline. The same discipline applies to any bingo welcome sold on a “win up to” figure: value it on the average, not the largest prize.

High-street operators and the evoke group

Grosvenor Casinos (Rank), Genting Casino, Admiral Casino (Novomatic) and Betfred have a physical presence on British high streets, which makes them the easiest brands to verify and the slowest to disappear; Betfred’s largest Commission fine or settlement was £3.25m in 2023. In the evoke group, formerly 888, William Hill carries the largest figure on this page, £19.2m in 2023, and 888 itself £9.4m in 2022. For a deposit offer, where your own money sits in the account, how long a brand has been around and how its group has been dealt with matter more than a few pounds of difference in the bonus.

Smaller bingo names, and the no-wagering alternative

Sun Bingo, Fabulous Bingo and Slingo, like every licensed brand, show the company that holds their licence and their Gambling Commission account number at the foot of the site, and both can be matched on the public register before you deposit. And if wagering is the part you would rather skip altogether, PlayOJO and MrQ promise no wagering on any bonus, so what a bonus wins is cash; their spin counts tend to be smaller, and the wagering multiples priced above do not apply to them.

Offshore bingo welcomes: what bigger matches cost to clear

Matches above 200%, such as 300% and 400%, are typically offshore offers, and they arrive with wagering of 30 to 60 times and no 10x cap. The sites behind them are not licensed in Great Britain. With a deposit offer the money at stake is your own, which makes the missing protections matter more than they do on any free offer. Every casino in our ranking falls into this offshore category: their packages begin at a £20 or €20 deposit and ask for 35x to 40x wagering, and the protections this section describes as missing are missing there as well.

The offshore brands named on this site, none of them licensed in Great Britain, fall into four groups. Mystake, Goldenbet, Rolletto, Donbet and Velobet are operated by one Curaçao-licensed company, Santeda International B.V.; they are absent from the UK register and from GamStop, they take cryptocurrency, their wagering is uncapped and the Commission has no power to deal with a complaint against them. Rainbet, licensed in Anjouan through RBGAMING N.V., is crypto-first, taking Bitcoin and other coins, payments that UK-licensed sites do not handle. Roobet and Gamdom began in the gaming-skins market and now run as crypto casinos under Curaçao licences; a British customer has no regulator to turn to, no ombudsman and no bank protection on coins sent to them. Kinghills and NineWin, recently launched Curaçao sister sites with no public track record, are promoted on “not on GamStop” pages aimed at UK players.

The site’s match simulation, on Model A at 20p stakes and without any cap, shows the pattern at offshore multiples. A £10 deposit with a 300% match, a £30 bonus, at 40x finished its wagering 9.4% of the time and averaged £25.09 in cash; with a 400% match, £40 of bonus, at 40x the figures were 10.1% and £31.91. The formula values on a 96% slot are −£18.00 and −£24.00. Any withdrawal cap on bonus winnings, which the simulation did not apply, would pull those averages down.

On bingo the offshore multiples look worse still. A £30 bonus at 40x means £1,200 of tickets, and in rooms paying back 80% that costs £240 on average, eight times the bonus. Paying the deposit in cryptocurrency also gives up the protection a debit card carries; at a UK-licensed site the question never arises, because licensed cashiers have no crypto option. The homepage guide to offers that are too good to be true sets out the warning signs.

A bingo welcome’s terms, priced clause by clause

These terms were drafted for this page as an example and belong to no real site. The table after them prices each clause using the arithmetic above.

  1. “New customers only, aged 18 or over. Register, complete age and identity verification and opt in before making a deposit.”
  2. “Deposit at least £10 by debit card and spend £10 on bingo tickets within 7 days of registering.”
  3. “A £20 bingo bonus is credited within 48 hours of meeting the spend.”
  4. “Bingo bonus funds must be wagered 4 times on bingo tickets before winnings from them can be withdrawn.”
  5. “The bonus can be used in selected rooms on tickets costing up to 10p. It cannot be used in jackpot games.”
  6. “Your cash balance is used before bonus funds. Withdrawing cash before the wagering is complete removes the bonus and any winnings from it.”
  7. “Bonus funds and wagering progress expire 30 days after crediting.”
  8. “Maximum withdrawal from bonus winnings: £100.”
  9. “10 free spins at 10p on a named slot are credited with the bonus. Using them is optional and does not affect the bingo bonus; winnings from the spins are paid as cash.”
ClauseEffect on the value
1. Opt in before depositingMiss the opt-in and the deposit buys no bonus. Verification before play has been the law since 7 May 2019.
2. Deposit £10 and spend £10The spend is a cost: £2 on average at an 80% payback, £1 at 90%. The deposit-limit prompt comes before this step.
3. £20 bonusThis is B. The £10 deposit stays outside the value.
4. 4x on bingo£80 of tickets. Formula value £12.00 at 90%, £4.00 at 80%, −£4.00 at 70%. Within the cap; at 10x the same bonus would be £0.00 at 90%.
5. Selected rooms, 10p tickets, no jackpotsR is the payback of those rooms only. 800 tickets at 10p: 134 games at six tickets a game, 11 h 10 min at 12 games an hour.
6. Cash first, forfeitureHere the deposit and the qualifying spend are the same £10. Once it has bought its tickets, what comes back as prizes, £8 on average at 80% and £9 at 90%, is cash, but withdrawing it before the wagering is done cancels the £20 bonus.
7. 30 daysAt six tickets a game, 11 h 10 min over 30 days is about 22 minutes a day; at one ticket a game, the 800 games need 66 h 40 min, over two hours a day.
8. £100 maximumFive times the bonus. It removes only balances above £100 from bonus play, but those rare wins are what hold the average up; caps were not simulated.
9. Optional spinsTen 10p spins on a 96% slot average 96p in cash. Because the bingo bonus does not depend on them, the offer requires only one type of gambling; spins that had to be played to release the bingo bonus would be the point to check against the mixed-product rule.

Put together, the illustrative offer is worth £12.00 on the formula at a 90% payback, less the £1 average cost of the qualifying spend, plus 96p from the optional spins: £11.96 in all. At an 80% payback the same sum is £4.00 − £2.00 + £0.96 = £2.96. By the yardstick of the payback-gap table, it matches a slot bonus at 10x when its rooms pay back 90% and falls well short at 80%, which is why the room clause matters more than the bonus amount.

How to claim a bingo sign up bonus, step by step

The order of events at a UK-licensed bingo site is set by the rules, and it puts the checks before the money:

  1. Read the terms first. Note the qualifying deposit or spend, the rooms, the multiple, the expiry and the wallet order before you register, while walking away still costs nothing.
  2. Open the account and pass the checks. Your age and identity must be confirmed before any play, bonus play included; documents are requested if the automatic check cannot confirm you.
  3. Set a deposit limit at the prompt. Since 31 October 2025 the site must ask you to choose a deposit limit before your first deposit. Pick it with the qualifying amount in mind, not the size of the bonus.
  4. Opt in if the offer asks you to. Do it before depositing; a deposit made first may not qualify.
  5. Deposit by debit card or another accepted method. Gambling on credit cards has been banned since 14 April 2020, and UK-licensed sites do not offer cryptocurrency deposits.
  6. Complete any qualifying spend in eligible rooms. Tickets bought in excluded rooms may not count towards it, and the terms set the window for it.
  7. Play the bonus in the named rooms. Watch the wagering counter and the expiry date, and compare your pace with the table above.
  8. Withdraw once the wagering is complete. Withdrawals go back to your verified method. Before withdrawing early, check whether doing so forfeits the bonus.

Warning signs that a bingo welcome is not worth taking

A deposit offer puts your money in play, so the warning signs deserve more weight than on a free one. Any of these is a reason to read the terms again or walk away:

  • Wagering above 10x. No UK-licensed site may ask for it since 19 January 2026, so the offer is either misdescribed or from an unlicensed site.
  • Slot spins or a bet as a condition of the bingo bonus. If the bonus is credited or released only after slot play or a sports bet, check it against the January 2026 ban on promotions needing two or more types of gambling.
  • A headline that never states the bonus. “Play with £50” without saying how much is deposit and how much is bonus hides B, the only figure that can be valued.
  • A qualifying spend larger than the deposit, or one that must be made in rooms you would not otherwise choose. The spend costs money on average before any bonus arrives.
  • An expiry shorter than your pace allows. If the pace table says 28 hours and the bonus lasts 7 days, the terms are asking for four hours a day.
  • A low cap on bonus winnings kept out of the significant terms and found only in the full ones.
  • Credit cards or crypto accepted, no licence number in the footer, or “not on GamStop”. Each one is a sign of a site outside the UK system.
  • Pressure to deposit more to unlock a higher tier. Each tier is a separate offer, and a larger deposit raises the amount at stake before it raises the value.

Bingo welcome or casino match: how the offers compare

The table sets the bingo welcome from this page beside the deposit offers and free bingo covered elsewhere on the site. Bingo rows use the illustrative paybacks; casino rows use 96% and, where they exist, the slot simulation on Model A at 20p stakes. The guide to online bingo explains the game itself: how many calls each prize takes and what your tickets are worth against the room.

300% match on £10 (offshore)£10£3040x−£18.009.4% finish; average cash £25.09

Three comparisons matter most. Against the 200% deposit bonus on a casino, the same £20 of bonus on a £10 deposit keeps £12.00 at 10x on a 96% slot, while the bingo version needs a 4x multiple and 90% rooms to match it. Against the usual 100% match on a £20 deposit, the bonus is the same size but the deposit doubles, and the slot simulation finished more often, 42.6% against 28.9%, because the larger balance survives longer. And the slots sign up bonus package of a match plus 50 spins reaches £14.88 on the formula because spins on a 96% slot cost little to clear.

The ranking’s casino packages would sit beside the offshore row rather than the bingo ones: a qualifying deposit of at least £20 or €20, wagering of 35x to 40x printed on each card, and play on casino games. At a 96% slot the formula already falls below zero once wagering passes 25 times a bonus, so on those cards the first line to read is what the multiple is charged on.

Free bingo is the other neighbour. The 20 free tickets valued on the bingo no deposit bonus page are worth £1.60 at an 80% payback and put nothing of yours at stake; a bingo welcome is worth many times more on paper but asks for a deposit and, at bingo paybacks, for a much lower multiple than the cap before that paper value survives the wagering.

Playing bingo with a bonus safely

A bingo welcome asks for money, and its bonus is designed to keep that money in play. Before the qualifying deposit, set the limit the site prompts for at a figure you could lose in full without it mattering, and do not raise it to reach a bigger tier of a package.

Bingo spending is easy to underestimate because each ticket is cheap. At six 10p tickets a game and 12 games an hour, you buy £7.20 of tickets an hour; at an 80% payback that costs £1.44 an hour on average, and £4.32 over a three-hour evening before any bad run. A long wagering requirement turns that into many evenings, and the pace table above shows how many.

Use the time-outs and limits licensed sites provide, and treat depositing again to finish a requirement, or to reach a withdrawal minimum, as the signal to stop. GamStop blocks you from all UK-licensed online gambling sites in one step, bingo sites among them, and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 offers free, confidential support.

How we worked out the numbers

Every bonus value on this page comes from E = B × (1 − W × (1 − R)), with B the bonus alone, W the multiple and R the payback; play-through is W × B and its expected cost W × B × (1 − R). The result is the value if the requirement is played through in full. The multiple that matches a slot bonus at 10x is 0.4 ÷ (1 − R), the multiple at which a bingo bonus keeps 60% of its value, as a slot bonus does at 10x on a 96% game.

The bingo paybacks of 70% to 92% are there to show how sensitive the answer is, not measurements of any site or room; 96% is the site’s slot benchmark. Times assume an illustrative 12 bingo games an hour and a stated number of tickets a game; slot times use the 2.5-second minimum spin.

The slot figures are the site’s deposit-match runs on Model A (96% RTP, medium volatility, one bonus round in about 170 spins, top win 2,500x the stake): 20,000 sessions per row at 20p stakes, deposit and bonus played together until the wagering is complete or the balance is spent, and a “real money first” variant that plays the deposit first and withdraws it at double. The no-bonus baseline plays the deposit until ten times it has been staked. Caps on deposit bonuses were not applied, Model A illustrates volatility rather than copying a real game, and bingo itself was never simulated. The scoring behind the ranking is set out in the site’s evaluation and ranking method.

Frequently asked questions

Which bingo sign up bonus is the best value?

Usually the one whose wagering multiple is lowest for the payback of the rooms it can be used in, judged on the bonus alone and never on your deposit. A £20 bonus wagered 4x in rooms paying back 90% keeps £12.00 on the formula, as much as a £20 slot bonus at 10x, while the same bonus at 10x keeps £0.00. These welcomes are deposit offers from UK-licensed bingo sites, while the offers in this page’s ranking are casino packages from offshore-licensed sites and include no bingo welcome.

How much is a £20 bingo bonus worth?

It depends on the wagering and on the payback of the rooms it can be used in. On the formula, at 4x it is worth £12.00 if the rooms pay back 90% and £4.00 at 80%; at 10x it falls to £0.00 at 90%, against £12.00 for a £20 slot bonus at 10x on a 96% game. Those are values if the wagering is completed; in the site’s simulation on a 96% model slot, two thirds of £10 deposits with a £10 match at 10x ended with nothing, deposit included.

Why is a bingo bonus worth less than a slot bonus with the same wagering?

Because the cost of wagering is the share of each pound the game keeps. A 96% slot keeps 4p in the pound, while bingo rooms paying back 80% keep 20p, so the same multiple costs five times as much on average.

What wagering should I look for on a bingo welcome?

Compare the multiple with the payback. A bingo bonus keeps as much as a slot bonus at 10x when it is wagered 4 times in rooms paying back 90%, or twice at 80%, and no UK-licensed site may ask for more than 10x since 19 January 2026.

What is the difference between “deposit £10” and “spend £10”?

A deposit stays in your balance until you use it, while a spend requirement means buying £10 of tickets before the bonus arrives. That spend has a cost of its own: about £2 on average at an 80% payback and £1 at 90%.

Can I use a bingo sign up bonus on slots?

Only if the terms allow it, and a bingo bonus may be limited to named rooms. Separately, check that the offer does not require slot play to qualify or to release the bonus, since promotions that require two or more types of gambling have been banned since 19 January 2026.

How long does it take to clear a bingo bonus?

Longer than on slots, because bingo moves at the pace of the game. The £200 of 10p tickets that a £20 bonus at 10x needs takes about 28 hours at six tickets a game and 12 games an hour, against 83 minutes of 10p slot spins.

Do room and ticket limits change what the bonus is worth?

Room limits do, because the bonus takes the payback of the rooms it is allowed in, and a fixed-prize room pays back less when it is busy. Ticket price limits leave the average cost of wagering unchanged but set how many tickets you need and how long the wagering takes.

Can I withdraw my deposit while a bingo bonus is active?

That depends on the wallet order in the terms. If cash is used first you may be able to withdraw a win on your own money, sometimes at the cost of the bonus; if deposit and bonus are locked together, nothing can be withdrawn until the wagering is met.

Are bigger bingo bonuses at offshore sites better value?

No. Matches of 300% or 400% at sites not licensed in Great Britain come with 30x to 60x wagering; in the site’s simulation on a 96% model slot, a £10 deposit with a 300% match at 40x finished its wagering 9.4% of the time, and those sites offer no GamStop cover, no 10x cap and no UK complaints route.
